The gym is never louder then when a Woodlawn basketball team takes the court. Everybody loves the excitement and fast paced play of basketball and Woodlawn is no exception. And this year we have a new hardwood maple floor in the gym just like you’ll find in the NBA. Basketball builds coordination, endurance and of course teamwork.
Both the Boys and Girls Varsity teams started as a freelance teams in 2009, joined the Mid-State Christian conference in 2010 and moved to the NCISAA Southern Piedmont Athletic Association (SPAA) in 2014.
Girls and boys teams play in the winter season.
For the 2023-2024 season we’re excited to field Middle School and Junior Varsity teams for both girls and boys!
